The Digital City Map (DCM) data represents street lines and other features shown on the City Map, which is the official street map of the City of New York. The City Map consists of 5 different sets of maps, one for each borough, totaling over 8000 individual paper maps. The DCM datasets were created in an ongoing effort to digitize official street records and bring them together with other street information to make them easily accessible to the public. The Kids in Motion (KIM) program provides free activities in NYC’s playgrounds, including organized sports, games, fitness demos, and board games. The Summer Sports Experience (SSE) program, which provides sports instruction to children ages 8 to 14. This dataset contains the weekly attendance for each of these programs at a specific site. The programs run from April to October each year.

Pursuant to the City's Legal Defense Trusts Law, found in Chapter 11 of Title 3 of the New York City Administrative Code, a public servant (or someone acting on behalf of a public servant) may set up a legal defense trust to raise funds to pay for certain legal bills and expenses connected with the public servant’s City employment. This dataset lists information about donations refunded by legal defense trusts in accordance with the City's Legal Defense Trusts Law. Specifically, it includes the names and addresses of each person who donated and was refunded by the legal defense trust; the amount of the donation and refund; and the date of the donation and refund.

The dataset contains the metadata provided on the NYC Honorary Street Names Map. The dataset will include City Council Introduction Number, the local law enactment number and date, category of change, borough, new name of the street or intersection, present name, limits, zip code, Introduced by Council Member(s), Biographical information of the individual, Notes, Longitude and Latitude coordinates.

This dataset aggregates the number of crashes reported to TLC that involve a TLC-licensed vehicle. The crash data is broken down by industry and month. Crash counts include all crashes, crashes with injury of any severity, crashes with critical injury, and crashes involving a fatality. Please note that multiple TLC-licensed vehicles can be involved in a single crash.

This data set contains New York City Police Department provided domestic violence incident data for calendar years 2020, 2021 and 2022. In addition, ENDGBV obtained through Open Data the number of shooting incidents for calendar years 2020, 2021 and 2022. The data includes counts of the number of domestic violence incidents, shooting incidents and the number of expected domestic violence incidents and shooting incidents by: race (American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander, Black, and White) and sex (male, female) for New York City, each borough (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island). It also provides the count and rate of domestic violence and shooting incidents by police precinct. The expected number of domestic violence incidents and shooting incidents were calculated by taking the total number of actual domestic violence and shooting incidents for a given geography (New York City, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island) and proportioning them by demographic breakdown of the geographic area.
