New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) uses Automated Traffic Recorders (ATR) to collect traffic sample volume counts at bridge crossings and roadways. These counts do not cover the entire year, and the number of days counted per location may vary from year to year.

This count reflects cyclists traveling through Manhattan at on 86th Street along the avenues, in Central Park and on the greenways. Note: Data was not collected in years for which counts are missing.

Midtown bicycle counts on various avenues at 50th Street, single weekday bicycle count in three separate months (May, July, Sept) between 7am- 7pm. Date range is 1980 to 2022. Covers 16 locations across Midtown Manhattan.

Daily total of bike counts conducted monthly on the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge, and Queensboro Bridge.
