This dataset contains a list of all inspections conducted and any associated violations at active, city-regulated, center-based child care programs and summer camps over the past 3 years. The violations are pre-adjudicated. Violations that are subject to potential penalties (fines) are submitted to NYC Office of Administrative Trials and Hearing where they are adjudicated as either sustained/upheld or dismissed. The dataset also contains additional information on the programs, including license information. This dataset is based on a legacy system that is no longer maintained by the NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY). It contains the following information about inspections of permitted, privately operated, municipal solid waste disposal locations: inspection ID number, inspection date, the number of violations, and number of warnings.

The Customers Observing and Reporting Experience (CORE) program is an inspection program that rates facility conditions and customer service at over 300 of the City’s walk-in service centers.
CORE scores are calculated using the following points scale: Excellent=100, Good=67; Fair=33; Poor=0.

This dataset features business inspections conducted by DCWP. DCWP enforces key consumer protection, licensing, weights and measures, and workplace laws. In addition to patrol (routine) inspections at brick-and-mortar businesses, DCWP inspects licensed vehicles such as horse-drawn cabs, pedicabs, sightseeing buses, and tow trucks to ensure they are in compliance with their respective asset class requirements. DCWP also conducts 'Business Education' inspections, which are educational, violation-free visits. These visits are designed to help business owners learn about and comply with the laws that DCWP enforces.

The dataset contains current inspection data for cafeterias permitted in public, private, and parochial schools in NYC. All school cafeterias are required to be in compliance with NYS and NYC Food Safety Regulations, found in New York City Health Code Article 81. School cafeteria inspections are conducted at least annually to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. This dataset includes information obtained as part of the permitting process and data collected during inspections. This data includes inspection results for active school cafeterias for the last three years. Data for cafeterias that have ceased operations and any violations cited during the inspection that were dismissed during adjudication are excluded from this dataset
