This data can be used to review historical ratings for schools and compare ratings across time
Schools do not receive a Quality Review every year. Data are provided for all schools that received a Quality Review that school year, current and closed. The Quality Review rating scale is not uniform across all years (see column info tab for more detail).

Yearly data of Quality Review ratings from 2005 to 2017

The Quality Review is a process that evaluates how well schools are organized to support student learning and teacher practice. It was developed to assist New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) schools in raising student achievement by looking behind a school’s performance statistics to ensure that the school is engaged in effective methods of accelerating student learning.

A list of schools receiving Quality Reviews during the 2017-18 school year

This report shares information about school performance, sets expectations for schools, and promotes school improvement.
